Timothy Hamons is a dynamic and creative trainer, and facilitator, leading teams and individuals towards greater success over 20 years. He designs and delivers programmes on personal and organizational creativity, and facilitates visual thinking / visual recording to capture, connect, and synthesize key conversations at conferences, strategy sessions, and innovation initiatives.
Tim holds a degree of Bachelors of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati, USA which was voted the top design school in the country in 1988. He worked with Landor Associates in San Francisco and London and developed corporate identity and communications programs for clients from various industries in Europe and America. In 1991, he started and ran his own successful visual communications consultancy in Singapore for 10 years. He has worked with over 50 leading companies in Europe, USA, and Singapore to express their identity and values through written and graphic communications programs.
For over 20 years, Tim has facilitated over 2,000+ students of all age ranges from primary school to adult military leaders in mind-mapping. A strong conceptual thinker, he uses the best idea generating tools and visual thinking to inspire and lead individuals and teams toward creative strategies and solutions.
Tim completed training Graphic Recording programs in visual recording and visual facilitation in the USAin 2011 and 2012 with the International Forum of Visual Practitioners (IFVP), where he is currently a board member. He is also completing online courses in visual facilitation by “AlphaChimp Studios” in the USA, and with Dan Roam based on his visual thinking methodologies from his book series “Back of the Napkin”.
Tim worked for over 10 years with youth programmes Supercamp and Camp Discovery, teaching accelerated learning tools, Emotional Quotient and leadership skills. He has led teams and supported training events in the personal development industry for over 20 years. He has worked as an assistant trainer with leading events organizers including Success Resources, Money & You, and AsiaWorks. He is an active member of the Facilitators Network of Singapore, and Asia Professional Speakers- Singapore. He was a lead facilitator in an organization-wide innovation initiative in the Singapore Ministry of Defense (MINDEF) called the Leadership Engagement “Jumpstart” programme in 2006-2007.
He contributes to community development through his volunteer work with a variety of organizations. He has mentored at-risk youth through a programme called “CampVision” and supported families to develop a “ creative family vision” plan with People’s Association.
He is passionate about creating a culture of innovation in organizations, and the importance of idea generation in relation to intuition and creativity for leaders. This includes team facilitation, culture change, communication and creativity workshop, design and presentation. He has designed and delivered workshops, facilitations, and visual harvesting sessions for leading organizations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South-East Asia and Australia.
